Rail Ambulance Mary K Museum

31st August we drive from Winton to Cloncurry and stopped for morning tea where David thought was a nice shady spot beside the Blue Heeler Hotel at Kynuna it was actually part of the pub/caravan park. They were nice people who let us use their toilets so we bought a sars and a ginger beer from them to have with our lunch. Davis was fascinated with the walls and ceiling of the hotel that were filled with graffiti and caps it also had historical significance with Bango Patterson and the original recital of Waltzing Matilda. We unhooked at Cloncurry and went to have a look around the town visited the Mary K museum, it has changed a lot since we were there four years ago. They are building new buildings and have knocked over some of the history. We will spend two nights here with a shady, relaxing spot.
